Pipis & Lap Cheong Linguine
Sometimes you just want to make a seafood linguine. I paired pipis with lap cheong and added lots of fresh chilli, garlic, tomatoes and zucchinis. I also seasoned the sauce with fish sauce which adds instant flavour and depth, especially when you're cooking a fast pasta like this.

Date Night Dinner Menu in 30 minutes, 'VietMex' style
A Vietnamese Mexican inspired menu I cooked for an easy date night dinner that takes 30 minutes. I made an aguachile served with prawn crackers paired with paloma cocktails to start and then beer battered fish tacos with some riesling and Vietnamese beer.

Vietnamese Style Prawn & Mango Salad with Prawn Crackers
A Vietnamese-style summer starter perfect for the festive hosting season.

Crunchy Noodle Salad
This is a salad I would make if I was asked to ‘bring a salad’. It’s perfect for the warmer weather, it’s substantial enough to have it on its own for lunch or dinner, or serve as a side salad alongside a larger spread.

Vietnamese style fried fish with tamarind dipping sauce, rice & slaw
Fried silver whiting in a makrut lime batter, served with a kohlrabi and sugar snap pea slaw and a tamarind dipping sauce. One of the best ways to eat fish. Give it to me fried with a whole lot of punchy aromatics, some rice and a fresh slaw and sauce and I’m in heaven.Â

Roast Potato and Green Bean Salad
A spicy spring salad with roasted potatoes, green beans, a romesco sauce and salsa verde.

Pork & Fennel Bianco Ragu Two Ways over Two Days
This recipe is inspired by two Italian recipes Maiale al Latte- Pork in Milk and Finnochio con Latte al Forno- Fennel baked in Milk, but I’ve blended the two and created an easy ‘one pot throw it all in and slow cook it’ version.Â

Japanese Chicken Curry with Rice (Kare Raisu, カレーライス)
A comforting Japanese golden curry, easy enough to make for a weeknight meal or make a big batch to freeze and have across a few meals and months.

Beef Short Ribs, Three Way over Three Days
This is one of my ‘cook smarter not harder’ recipes because truthfully, it’s how I’m cooking these days as a mum with a baby but also as I get lazy/cosy over winter.

Raspberry Mille Feuille
A triple decker dream with layers of puff pastry, custard and topped with fresh raspberries. You can make the components the day before or ahead of time and simply assemble just before serving.

Vietnamese Ginger Chicken- Gà Kho Gừng
A fast yet flavourful Vietnamese homestyle dish where chicken thigh is braised in a caramel sauce with lots of ginger.

Stuffed Roasted Capsicums
This under $20 dish is mince stuffed capsicums served with jasmine rice, fresh cucumber slices and dressed with my Vietnamese dipping sauce. An easy but delicious weeknight dish.

The Perfect Grilled Cheese Toastie
How to perfect a cheese toastie as well as what I’ve put in mine for a spicy kick using up what I normally have lying around in my fridge and pantry.
MOST LOVED RECIPES

Herb Focaccia
My most popular recipe, this Herb Focaccia recipe is my ultimate go-to! It's simple, delicious and you can customise it whichever way you like.

Pasta Alla Vodka
An American Italian style pasta made famous by New York institutions like Carbone. The tomato paste makes it savoury and flavourful, the vodka acts as a solvent and brings out the flavours the cream makes it rich and rounded and the chilli oil takes it to another level. It is truly one of those perfect sauces where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Bún Thịt Nướng
One of my favourite Vietnamese recipes, that I grew up eating. ‘Bún’ means vermicelli noodles and ’thịt nướng’ translates to grilled meat, so it simply means ‘Grilled Meat Noodles’. It's one of those perfect meals to make during the week, especially as it gets warmer!

Pizza Dough
After making pizzas from scratch at home for the last year I've been trying so many different recipes and tweaking each ingredients ratio every time and I think I've finally perfected it! This is as close as I can get to a Neapolitan style pizza, which is my favourite.Â

Pork & Prawn Dumplings
A super quick and easy Chinese dumpling recipe for you try. It’s a classic pork dumpling, but you can add aromatics and condiments of your choice. So go on, have some fun in the kitchen and make some dumplings your own way!

Lamb Ragu Pappardelle
If you ever travel to Tuscany they do a lot of ragu served with pappardelle, which is a wider fettuccine-style pasta. The lamb ragu recipe is a four hour slow cook so it’s great to start cooking in the morning and serve as a warming Sunday night meal with family or friends.
